Navigation made Easy

Navigation around the house can be a problem when there is not enough light around like in the middle of the night when you want to use the washroom or the lights suddenly go off. Younger adults are better able to handle these situations because of their sharper senses and cognitive skills. However, older adults may not be as sharp and hence they are the target audience of the project.

The project aims to help these older adults move about the house using visual and light based cues. It can also be extended to finding objects of frequent and everyday use.
